Why You Need to Buy Silk Pillow Cases

So you're looking for a way to have a better night's sleep and wake up looking better and feeling better. Before you go out and buy a new bed, take a look at buying yourself a set of nice silk pillow cases. They may make all the difference in the world.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

Why silk pillow cases, you ask? Well, first, let's look at what we mean by that phrase. Most fine silk is made from silkworms that live and eat on mulberry leaves. This is the traditional kind of silk, and if you are looking at buying something that does not claim to use mulberry silk, you might want to look elsewhere. Specifically amongst the different kinds of mulberry silk, you will be looking for charmeuse silk. Why? It is simply the softest, lightest, most luxurious silk made and is the standard for silk bedding and anything that needs to be silky soft.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

Now that we know what kind of silk you will be looking for, let's take a look at some of the advantages of using silk pillow cases.

First, silk is far less absorbent than other materials. Why is that good? Expensive face creams won't rub off and be absorbed by your pillow case, leaving your face open to aging and wrinkles. Additionally, for those who don't use face creams as much, silk allows your face to retain its natural moisture

Secondly, silk is kinder and gentler on your hair. Cotton is quite abrasive comparatively. Silk pillow cases allow your expensive permanent or hair style to glide over the pillow and not get all matted up. The result? You wake up in the morning and your hair looks much better than before, almost like you just got back from the salon. Well, maybe not that good, but you can forget about bed head and needing to spend hours on your hair to get it looking like the day before. Think of all the time you could save just by sleeping on silk.

Thirdly, and this may be the most important to some people, silk pillow cases are naturally resistant to dust and dust mites. If you suffer from allergies, this is great news. The sneezing, the tossing and turning, the continual runny nose in the morning, the puffy face because of an allergic reaction you didn't even know you had, all that is gone when you sleep on silk pillow cases. If you are prone to allergies and have experienced any of these things, you owe it to yourself to pick up a set and find out what it's like to have a really good night's sleep.

What Can a Memory Foam Topper Do For You?

Are you (literally) tired of your current mattress? Getting a good night's sleep involves more than just making sure you're in bed before 10 pm. The quality of the sleep you get during those hours plays a significant role in how rested you feel in the morning, and throughout the day. If you consistently wake up feeling tired, despite getting at least seven or eight hours a night, or you regularly wake up with aches and pains, it might be time to investigate what a memory foam topper can do to improve your sleep.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

What is a Memory Foam Topper?

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

A foam topper is a layer of viscoelastic foam that sits on top of your current mattress. Foam mattress toppers come in a few various thicknesses and are designed to improve the support and feel of your bed's mattress without having to replace the mattress itself.

Memory foam was first designed for NASA to use in their air plane's seats. The unique design of this foam allows it to adjust and conform to a person's body via the pressure applied to the foam and by transfer of the body's heat. The foam molds itself to the person and their unique contours. When the foam is no longer being sat or laid upon its "memory" quickly returns the foam to its previous shape.

So How Does This Help Me?

Fancy sounding features are nice, but to understand the true value of a memory foam topper you have to know how it will benefit you, right? The key to this type of mattress' success is in its ability to provide support to your body while you lay on it. Unlike a coil mattress, which simply dips under the weight of your body at its heaviest point (usually the hip area), foam's density allows it to conform independently and only compress as much as needed throughout the length of your body. The result is much more support for all your joints, while also keeping your spine aligned while you sleep.

Who Can Benefit?

While everyone can benefit from a supportive and comfortable mattress, there are some conditions or situations that make owning a memory foam topper very advantageous. If you have back problems or regularly wake up with stiff or sore joints it could be due to a lack of proper support from your current mattress.

If your sleep often suffers because your sleeping partner is a restless sleeper and wakes you up when he or she moves you will appreciate memory foams ability to greatly reduce sleep disruption due to mattress movements. Also, if you tend to readjust your sleeping position frequently in the night it could be due to your body trying to find a more comfortable position and relieve the pain of pressure points caused by traditional coil mattresses.

The Drawbacks of Memory Foam

As with anything, no product is perfect and this is no exception. If you suffer from a sleep disorder, such as sleep apnea, a memory foam topper will not correct this disorder. It should also be noted that memory foam, because of its tendency to absorb body heat, will often heat up more than a traditional mattress, which can be uncomfortable for those sensitive to heat. This heat absorption can often be lessened drastically by choosing a topper that incorporates a breathable fiber top layer into its design.

If you're waking up feeling sore and sleepy, but don't want to replace your current mattress with an entirely new one, you may find the addition of a memory foam topper is exactly what your tired and aching body needs to turn restless nights into restful ones. Just be sure to read the reviews before you purchase a foam topper, as not all are created equal.

Customer Testimonials - Managing Your Online Buzz for Maximum Profits

Earlier this month, my wife and I traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where we stayed at Casa Amorita, a charming little bed & breakfast in the historic downtown. Owner Rita Love is doing an outstanding job building her business through word of mouth marketing. If you want to create buzz for your business, there are lessons that you can learn from Rita and other savvy business owners who have discovered valuable ways to leverage customer testimonials.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

Rita understands that the cornerstone of positive buzz is delivering a stellar customer experience. From the initial email communication to checkout, we felt as if she treated us like family. When we arrived, Rita offered us complimentary drinks and spent 30 minutes explaining all the nearby restaurants, sights, and excursions. Our room was spotless with beautiful ocean and town views. The common areas were immaculately swept and Rita's team of young employees delivered stellar service better than some luxury hotels where we've stayed. When we checked out, Rita made a point of saying goodbye to us personally.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

Rita's three best sources of business are people who have stayed with her before, their referrals, and Internet users. She tells every guest upon checkout that Casa Amorita depends upon referrals from satisfied guests and asks them to post a review of her property on Trip Advisor which more than 20 million travelers use every month.

On my Buzz Builder Blog, I explain how my wife and I depend on online reviews to select where we'll stay. Since we started using these three years ago, we have never stayed in a bad hotel. In our opinion, online hotel reviews are better than travel books since they are more reliable - many travel books are not updated regularly and multiple opinions are better than one. It should be standard practice for all hoteliers to ask satisfied guests to submit Trip Advisor reviews upon checkout. Even better, why not print this request on the receipt or submit it with an online questionnaire sent to guests after their stay?

As I write this newsletter, there is a landscaper in my front yard carving out a spot for a spring flowers. I found him through Angie's List, one of the nation's leading home service review websites with more than 500,000 members in over 124 U.S. cities. He's doing a great job, but I'm not surprised. Over the past year, I've hired an electrician, sprinkler installer, plumber, and heater repairman relying solely on Angie's List referrals, and I've been very pleased with the quality and affordability of work.

The concept behind Angie's List is surprisingly simple. People trust word of mouth referrals more than advertisements. Yet, oftentimes we have nowhere to go when we need a referral because our friends haven't experienced the service we require. Or, we simply want to cast a wider net since our friends may not have any good referrals.

Both Trip Advisor and Angie's List work hard to maintain the integrity of their lists. Last week, I wrote a review of Casa Amorita on Trip Advisor yet it still hasn't posted since somebody must review it and make sure that it presents useful information and isn't from the establishment itself or one of its competitors.

Similarly, I was the first person to review a tree trimming company for Angie's List two weeks ago. I contacted a customer service representative to ask why my listing had not yet posted and he said that they were still reviewing the business which includes checking out the Better Business Bureau, customer opinions on the Internet, and the state licensing board. Also, like Trip Advisor, Angie's List will not post a review until it has been verified that the review is from a real member and not a business trying to pass off a phony review.

What sort of reviews are customers finding about your business when they go online? Two good places to check out are Google Local and Yahoo! Local, which control almost 75% of the Internet search market. Also, ask your customers what sort of customer review websites they frequent. A good way to discover this is via a free or low-cost online survey - my favorite for ease-of-use is SurveyMonkey.

The best place to direct customers to post online reviews will vary greatly from business to business but it's worth discovering since it's one of the most effective and least expensive ways to increase your credibility, visibility, and sales.

Best Way To Set Up Inflatable Camping Tents

There are several things that we are able to do when trying to take a vacation or simply desperate to get away for a couple of days. One of my favorite things you can do is to go backpacking. This makes it possible for me to spend time with friends and family in a relaxing place without having to spend a couple hundred dollars.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

To be able to make a trip like this a sensation I have to manage to locate the right tools to use and to also discover how to create my camp. It is not hard to recognize what type of camp site to have - but also to put up the inflatable tent. These are the finest to have because they require less time and are a first-rate shelter.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

When you do this you initially must clear out the area where you will place the tent and move away any sharp branches or anything that could stab it. Next you need to lay down tarp as a layer of protection. As soon as that is performed you will be ready to take out your tent.

Connect the air pump up to the tent and turn it on. Be sure that you changed out the batteries before you left. It should take a second or less to pump up the whole thing. When it is up you just have to connect the ground stakes. These will assist secure it to the ground when the wind is blowing.

Now that your inflatable tent is up you are prepared to place your backpack and sleeping bag within it. Than you will be able to put up the rest of the camp and enjoy your few days in quiet.

Great Family Camping Trips Make Excellent Traditions

A wonderful way to invest in your families' treasure trove of memories is by spending time in the great outdoors. Camping trips can be an excellent tradition that your family will look forward to and in time, look back upon with fond memories.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

Whether you plan to camp at the same place every year or seek out new places doesn't matter as camping is always filled with new adventures. Your family might have a favorite place you go to every year mixed with a new spot you select together for another weekend or extended holiday during the year. There are so many national parks to explore; your options really are quite limitless.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

Camping doesn't have to be an overly expensive expenditure. Again this all depends on how you'll be camping. Camping in a tent carries a completely different dynamic than camping in a fully equipped camper. Camping in a tent is also relatively inexpensive. Perhaps the camper is something you'll decide to invest in after a few years of tent camping, then again there are some who prefer to only go tent camping. There's something to be said about the rustic quality of sleeping in a tent, you can hike to far off remote spots where you couldn't get to with a camper in tow.

Regardless of how you'll be camping you'll want to have the proper camping gear and accessories. First off you want to have the best tent and sleeping bags you can possibly afford. As your tent will be your home away from home for your trip and your sleeping bag will keep you warm and covered for those long nights under the stars (there are tents available that have mesh roofs for star gazing, of coarse if it starts to rain, you can just cover it up with your tent fly), you'll want to be sure that both these items keep you appropriately covered so to speak.

Next you'll want to have proper camp accessories; a trustworthy camp stove, a lantern, flashlights, a first aid kit, tarp, cooking and eating utensils, a little axe (for chopping firewood, also doubles as a hammer for hammering in tent pegs), some rope (for clothes lines and securing tarp), and cooler. Along with your sleeping bag you'll want to remember comfy pillows (unless your backpacking then you might want a convenient inflatable pillow) and very importantly a good sleep pad. An uncomfortable sleep experience on hard ground may steer you off tent camping altogether, so come prepared, a good sleeping pad is worth its weight in gold. A good idea to help you remember all these items is the camping check list.

It's a good idea to store your camp gear in some plastic containers. This way it's all in one place (with your camp list included), so when it's time to pack up and go camping you can go through the containers making any necessary additions needed. It's very important to check that all your equipment is properly maintained and cared for; there is nothing worse than getting to your destination and finding that your camp stove is not working. You'll also want to be sure that your camp fuel supply is replenished and you have extra batteries (for flashlights, lanterns or radios).

One of the best things about the whole camping experience is the food. Now depending on where you're camping and what time of year it is, if you're lucky you'll be able to do some of your cooking around the campfire. During dry seasons there may be fire restrictions due to forest fire concerns, if that's the case you'll do all your cooking atop your camping stove. Every meal always seems to taste a bit better when you're camping, it might have something to do with all the fresh air, or maybe all the fun activity builds up you're appetite, either way you'll want to bring along some family favorites. For dinner maybe some grilling of the families select choices, accompanied by some corn on the cob and potatoes wrapped in tin foil cooked on the coals with a nice salad and later for dessert smores (marshmallow and a slice of chocolate sandwiched between two graham wafers), add to that some hot chocolate before bed and that's a night of food to dream about.

The activities (or lack of activities) will also make your camping trip one to remember. Hiking, kayaking, cycling and sailing might be on your agenda. Most parks offer excellent groomed hiking trails. Research in advance the area you will be visiting to know what activities will be available, you may be able to rent a kayak and take a lesson at the same time. Many areas also offer great bike trails that the family can cycle on together. A late night walk is among favorite suggestions; you can check out the stars and just listen to the silence.

Bring along a book you've wanted to read or some magazines. Games are another excellent pastime, a deck of cards or a board game might be some fun. Of course you can always bring along some baseball gloves and a ball for a game of catch. Soccer balls, badminton rackets and a net or volleyball and net all make for a fun day at the park.

If your family has little one's you'll be presented with a whole new challenge. Depending on the ages of your babies or toddlers you'll want to pack some extra conveniences. There are excellent baby back carriers available allowing you to hike all sorts of terrain with baby in tow while keeping your back feeling comfortable, as well there are a numerous variety of baby strollers to select from which are great for using on trails. For toddlers you may want to bring a playpen to keep baby safe. You can never bring too many toys; the more your child has to keep them entertained you can rest assure they will be more content.

Be prepared for weather changes by bringing along extra clothing. Most likely you will be camping in the warmer spring, summer and fall months. It's wise to remember however that the evenings can often get quite cool. Bring along heavy sweaters or extra jackets for added warmth, it can never hurt to bring along a couple of extra blankets for comfort beside the fire (or for use at a day picnic). Rainwear is another excellent addition to your camping wardrobe. With good quality rain jackets, hats, rain pants and boots you can take advantage of the rainy weather and actually go out for a hike rather than staying inside the tent or worse yet ending your camp trip all together.

Camping certainly has its challenges. Knowing what to bring and having the proper equipment and accessories is the first hurtle. Once you arrive at your destination and set up you want to keep everyone as comfortable and happy as possible, whether it's keeping the kids occupied without the use of video games or cooking a surefire dinner. Rest assured that after your first couple of trips when you find out what everyone enjoys doing and you realize all you like to include on your trip, you will certainly add camping to your families list of favorite excursions and traditions. The wonderful thing about camping is its always different, perhaps the site is different or the campground you selected is unique to the last you stayed at, whatever the difference is it always seems to be an adventure that the whole family can enjoy.

Humidifier or Dehumidifier - Which is Right for You?

The humidity level within our homes is very important to our health, too much or too little humidity can cause everything from condensation and mold to dry skin and respiratory issues. Our homes and our bodies depend on the right humidity levels to stay strong and healthy.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

Humidity is described as the water vapor levels that are in the air that we breathe. When the air warms up, the vapor levels drop. As the air becomes heavy with rain, the levels begin to rise. Either of these extremes causes us to become uncomfortable and more susceptible to illnesses.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

In the winter, the humidity levels tend to be low due to continued use of furnaces and other heating devices. When this happens, we are left with dry skin, lips and eyes, which are uncomfortable, but can be dealt with. However, for some people, especially the very young, very old or those already compromised by sickness, the dryer air can leave them more susceptible to respiratory issues such as bronchitis and asthma.

The use of a home humidifier will bring the air moisture levels to where they need to be. There are several types of humidifiers to choose. A popular type of devise works by warming up water from a reservoir tank, the evaporated water is then dispersed through the home with the use of a fan system. Another system utilizes a continuous mist or steam that is dispersed through the whole house, putting the needed moisture into the air.

A dehumidifier addresses the opposite problem. When the air that we breathe becomes saturated with water, we become uncomfortable, the air is sticky and it is harder to breath. The most common way to deal with this problem is with the use of an air conditioner, which literally sucks the water from the air. This effectively lowers the moisture levels and makes us more comfortable.

If an air conditioner is not an option, the next most common way to control high humidity levels is with the use of a bathroom or kitchen exhaust fan; these are the two places where high humidity levels are frequently found. The exhaust fan pulls the high moisture air out of the room, resulting in a more normal air/water level.

Another way to dehumidify the air in a house is with a dehumidifier. The use of a dehumidifier becomes important in areas of the house that never seem to dry out, such as the basement; or if someone in the home has allergies to mold. Most molds are very common and are not anything to worry about, except in the case of an allergy sufferer. In this case, a dehumidifier should be used in the bedrooms of the person with allergies as well as in or around the high humidity areas of the home.

Humidifiers and dehumidifiers can be found in a size that is right for every house, in fact for every room of the house. They are sold in a variety of stores from home improvement stores to discount chains, from drugstores to online vendors. If you are unsure if the use of a humidifier or dehumidifier is what is needed for your health issues, talk with your doctor, he or she will let you know if the use of one of these devises will alleviate your symptoms.

Tips For Choosing The Best Fabrics For Your Toddlers Bedding

There are many other considerations besides the fabric's design to keep in mind when choosing the best fabrics for your toddlers. The baby has grown and is ready to move into his own bed, this requires careful consideration about the type of bedding to be used. Here are a few features to keep in mind when shopping for their new sheets.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

Fiber Quality

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

A blend of cotton and polyester imbues the fabric wrinkle-resistant properties and is more durable. However, for very young children look for 100% cotton. Cotton is soft and absorbent that is ideal for nights when the child sweats. Cotton is cool and smooth and is easier to clean than other fiber blends. Polyester tends to have a hard grip on stains while cotton, being very water absorbent, allows dirt to be easily soaked away. Flannel cotton is also a good choice.

The best type of cotton sheet for children is long fiber cotton they make the softest cotton fabric. Long fiber cotton fabric does not lint or easily unravels. They are more durable and can survive numerous washings, which are important qualities for children's sheets.

Coating

Commercial sheets are exposed to various chemicals to provide certain qualities. Chlorine and formaldehyde are some examples. These prevent the fabric from wrinkling or shrinking. Some are treated with alkali substances to produce a lustrous finish. These sheets are not ideal for children because the chemicals involved may induce skin problems and allergies.

Read the labels and look for one that says the fabric purified. This essentially means that the sheets have not been treated with chemicals or the chemicals which they have been treated with were removed. These sheets may wrinkle easily but what is important is that your children are safe from the harmful effects of treated fabrics.

Color scheme

Toddler bedding done in their favorite colors encourages them to be more cooperative during bedtime since the sheets are done in themes which they love.

Durability

It was mentioned earlier that 100% cotton is ideal for babies or for very young children. In the case of older children, a blend of polyester and cotton may suffice. Polyester provides a higher durability for the fabric. Children at a certain age are very energetic. The softness of pure cotton may not survive long under the playful activities of older kids. Their skin is also less sensitive that when they were younger so the sturdier blend of polyester and cotton will not be uncomfortable.

Patterns

Interesting patterns in pastel colors are great for kids. Young girls like floral or pink prints and young boys prefer comic book or sports oriented themes. Sports toddler bedding are dyed to imprint pictures of basketball stars, NFL leagues, football crests and the like. This may make new sports toddler bedding feel starchy or stiff. This problem is easily resolved by washing the sheets a couple of times. This softens the dye and makes them settle into the fabric more, this makes your sports toddler bedding ready to use.

How to Download Files From the Internet in 3 Easy Steps

If you have an internet connection and you surf the web on a regular basis then you will at some time want to download files on to your computer. The web has many sites that provide downloads of music, movies, games and software. These can either be purchased through and online store or they can be downloaded for free.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

If you want to download music or a film but you are not sure then, follow these steps:

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

Step 1
Log on and connect to the website that you wish to download the music or video file. The majority of websites will have a clearly marked Download button that you just have to press to begin the download process.

Step 2
When you have found the file and the download link hit the Download button to start the downloading of the file. At this point a Windows Security Box will appear. This security box is basically asking for your permission to proceed. It will ask you if you want to either run or save the file.

Step 3
There will be three options to choose from that include Run, Save and Cancel. The options are explained further as follows:

Run: this option allows you to download a file to a temporary folder. With this option you need to be careful. As you are downloading files directly from another website. On the internet there is the risk that viruses, malware and other little nasties may gain access and infect your computer. Therefore, before you download any files even if it is from a trusted and authority website you should protect your system by installing an anti-virus software. There are many quality anti-virus products available today. When you have the anti-virus installed the software will automatically scan the file before it is downloaded. If there is a problem or a virus has been detected from the file to be downloaded it will automatically give you a warning.

Save: when you click the save option you are asking your computer to save the downloaded file to your computer's hard drive. A Save As instruction box will appear with options on where you want to save the downloaded file. You either save the files to a folder of your choice or you can save it externally to a CD or memory stick. You need to name a location in order for the installation process to continue and complete.

Sleep on a Plane - 7 Easy Ways to Wake Up Rested

There are a number of ways to ensure you get needed rest while flying on an airplane, most of which require advance planning. You may also need to take items with you that you might not normally bring on a trip. Additionally, before you plan, stop to consider what you will be doing when you arrive at your destination. If you have to head straight to a car rental agency and hit the road right after you land, you will obviously need to sleep on the plane. If you are, though, headed for a beach vacation, you may want to forgo slumber while aloft, and opt instead for a serious siesta in a comfortable hotel bed. Or on a beach towel - whatever suits you. Your sleep plan may also depend on the length of your flight and what time during the day or night it occurs.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

1 First or business class. If you have the wherewithal to fly with one of these seating arrangements, this is where you will obviously get your best sleep. First class often includes huge seats that resemble living room recliners, or in some instances completely flat beds (not king size, unless you're a king), and extreme pampering that ranges from expensive alcohol to personal chefs, depending on the airline. Business class seats are also much larger than coach seats and provide more room to stretch out. The flight attendant service in these two seating areas is much better than in coach, namely due to the number of available flight attendants per passenger, plus you get what you pay for. If you have extreme difficulty sleeping on an airplane, before fully processing your ticket, you should always ask and continue to ask until you are seated, if there are available inexpensive upgrades from coach to business or first class. People miss or change their flight arrangements often enough to make this a normal question, and you already have a "no" answer until you ask. Realistically, the upgrades are usually too expensive, but you should still ask.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

2 Coach yourself to sleep. If you have not flown recently, a number of airlines have expanded their coach or economy class seating by way of purchasing newer airplanes. Seats may be wider these days. Seating areas in general may be expanded. As you choose your seat (usually online these days), the window-versus-aisle-seat question may be thought of like this: Many people prefer a window seat so they can easily see outside of the airplane. May travelers also realize that window seats provide a sleeping wall to lean on, and may additionally provide a more comfortable area as you will not be constantly disturbed when other passengers head for the aisle to go to the bathroom. Depending on your druthers, aisle seats allow you to head for the restroom as often as you like, which is something to consider if your cabin mates are, um, asleep. Regardless of your preference, they key to success in this area may require some online persistence, as seats are reserved first-come-first-serve, so you may need to spend some time online after your initial seat assignment. One relatively new development in airplane seating concerns the larger airplanes that have rows of seats, with an aisle on either side, that run down the middle of the plane. If you end up in the middle of three, four, or five seats, you have nothing to lean on, and multiple people to step over on the way to the lavatory (thus, the more modern-day choice of an aisle seat). The final area to consider when flying coach is steer clear of seats located close to walls that run perpendicular to the length of the airplane. The last row of seats in a plane usually rests against a back wall, for example, which could mean that the seat does not recline (or reclines very little). Again, a matter of seat reservation. On a different note, though, a first row of seats in a plane section may in theory allow more than ample legroom.

3 Secure your blankie and special pillow. No rest is worth a pain in the neck from having slept in a dysfunctional position on an airplane. Why go on vacation to a cool exotic beach locale if you can't comfortably hang out at the pool after your flight? The trick to not developing a crick in your neck is to determine which high-tech pillow is right for you. There are inflatable pillows on the market today that allow you to rest your head on your elevated lap (your fellow passengers will be extremely envious, guard your pillow well). There are also the normal horseshoe-shaped pillows that protect your neck during flight. It may also be worthwhile to bring your own light blanket or military poncho liner (much warmer and lighter than blankets).

4 Ear plugs vs. ear buds. Soft foam ear plugs take a little getting used to, but once they are firmly inserted in your ears (follow the package instructions), you begin to understand how important they are for quality peace and quiet. They block background noise, but if a flight attendant needs to wake you, you will hear his or her voice. If you bring foam ear plugs, bring many, as they work best when fresh, especially so when there is a crying baby nearby. If you are an extreme sort of person, and need total quiet to sleep, consider the ear plugs and a pair of professional hunting ear muffs for total control over your ear space. Another method is to use noise reduction music ear buds.

5 Lights out. If you do end up in a window seat, in theory you control the window shade (your seated neighbor has a reading light available). And there are many other methods that may be used to block light: A hat with the brim pulled down over your eyes. Dark sunglasses. How about a full sleeping eye mask?

6 "Do not disturb" sign. If you are an outgoing person, but still need to sleep, you may want to zip your lips in this particular social setting. If you start talking to your neighbor, you may not be able to stop. If you run into an interesting person, but decide you need to execute your sleep plan, just steer the conversation toward "I'm planning on getting some Z's on this flight," and they'll get the idea. Some of the sleeping masks noted above actually have "Do Not Disturb" in bright, bold letters on the front, a great way to further get your message across.

7 Exhaustion might be the trick. There is the final wisdom of tiring yourself out before you board a flight. Clearly, your ability to sleep on a plane will depend on the time of day that your flight departs. However, if your flight takes off in the evening around your normal go-to-bed time, and you are able to transfer as many of your normal, healthy sleep habits from home to your plane ride: If you cut off your caffeine intake earlier in the day, visit the bathroom right before you decide to nod off in your plane seat, abstain from alcohol, and solve all of your various life problems before you board (yeah, right) - you will have a nice flight that will be hard to remember because you slept through most of it.

You may have to experiment with the various methods. You may also want to try to conduct a few in-flight stretches and exercises to increase your blood circulation. If you're creative, you can do both of these while seated, but do the stretches before you begin your snooze session and the exercises after, as the exercises may keep you awake. Exercises can also be performed on the way to the bathroom by way of taking the long way, or by walking in circles around the various aisles, until a flight attendant notices you and tells you to sit down. And don't forget stay buckled up at all possible times.

Turn Your Camping Trip Into a Glamping Trip

Glamping or glamorous camping is a fairly new trend in camping in the outdoors where people sleep in a yurt or teepee at a resort. These buildings usually have running water some have fireplaces and are can be very luxurious. A glamping trip is usually provided by adventure groups, such as hiking, safaris and rafting, but the focus is on the comfort of the guests. This kind of camping is big all over the world and can be quite expensive. DIY glamping or do it yourself glamping is becoming more popular especially with the baby boomers; they are ready for a little luxury when they go on a camping trip.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

Your bedroom is a good place to start. My bedroom is a 222 sq.ft, 13 person tent with 4 divided rooms, I have a queen size raised air bed that goes in it. This is a good size tent for a family of 4, but of course you will have to use a smaller air mattress if it is to sleep 4 people, unless you have young children, most kids would rather their own tent anyway. Don't forget you need room for everyone's gear. Keep one section of the tent for the bathroom, bring along a portable toilet and a folding camp kitchen to use as a vanity, no more running outside in the middle of the night. My tent is only for two people so I have a sitting area beside the bed with inflatable chairs, great for reading or watching a movie on the laptop should the weather turn ugly.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

The kitchen is another important factor as there is usually a lot of stuff associated with the kitchen. I have a 10x10 gazebo with a tent insert, it has large windows on all sides and the roof is mesh so there is plenty of air circulation. Everything stays dry and contained to that tent. I only cook in the kitchen tent if absolutely necessary, most of my cooking is done outside, after all, that is the main purpose of camping is the great outdoors. Inside I have 2 tables placed in a L shape. The first table will have the stove and oven and the other table is for food prep and dish washing, coolers fit underneath.

Another fairly small tent for your garage is useful to keep your lawn chairs, games and tools. A 3 person pop-up tent is usually big enough. You will want to be prepared for rain so keeping everything as dry as possible is a good idea, it takes a long time to dry things when you are camping. A living room tent is not necessary but in case of rain it makes a good gathering place for everyone games. I have an 11x11 tent for this.

These are some suggestions to glam your camp, but depending on where and how long you will be going on your trip will depict what you will want to bring. If you are just going for the week-end you will not want to bring everything here. I can set up camp in about 3 hours and everything fits in my van with a small trailer. It does take a little work but it is well worth the effort.

Happy Glamping!

Twin Mattress

What Type of Mattress is Best For a 3 Year Old?

3-year old kids can virtually fall asleep on any surface. However, this should not mean that you will just let them sleep just about anywhere. Their comfort is still of utmost importance if you do not want them to wake up feeling cranky. The expression "waking up on the wrong side of the bed" literally applies to them.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

So anyway, what exactly is the best one? There are so many options today including air mattress, innerspring mattress, memory foam mattress and latex mattress. Many parents purchase air mattresses especially those with cartoon character prints.

Inflatable Toddler Travel Bed

This is a practical choice as kids tend to outgrow their beds in no time. This is a good option for you but make sure it is also comfortable. Check some reviews and find the ones that have been labelled comfortable by consumers. Make sure the materials are also non-allergenic. PVC materials are often used for inflatable beds but these can trigger allergic reactions.

What is great about inflatable beds is that they are water proof. If you child wets on the bed, you can easily clean it. This is difficult to do with other mattresses.

Innerspring mattresses are not goof for playful kids as they tend to jump on this soft mattress. This will lead to mattress depression which will then lead to back pains. If you want to choose this bed, make sure it has less springs integrated. With more springs, the thinner springs are integrated. Less springs mean thicker springs are used which will give the mattress a desired level of firmness. A firm surface is also ideal for children as they need back support.

Memory foam is ideal for back pain. However, this may not be a good choice for kids as they are loaded with all sorts of chemical. The chemical content of this mattress may trigger allergic reactions.

The last choice, but definitely not the least is latex. This has been coined as the best mattress for kids because of its lack of chemical content. The mattress is naturally hypoallergenic. Also, the density of the mattress is just right for kids. It is not too firm and not too soft so kids can have the most relaxing sleep.

I would have to say latex mattress is a worthy investment. It has a long life so you can use it for your next children or sell it when your child outgrows the mattress. You can also purchase an adult size already and this will be your kid's mattress for many years to come.
